Funnel Bay- The Whitsunday Icon
This project has not yet commenced construction. It has not been released for sale. It will be a master planned resort and residential community that will very quickly establish itself as the landmark residential and resort icon of North Queensland. The project comprises 1.2 kilometres of beachfront surrounded on all sides by tropical rainforest covered hills and National Parks. It looks directly north to an array of beautiful Whitsunday Islands. The project will incorporate a 5 star eco-resort in excess of 150 rooms to be operated by a unique five star international hotel brand. The project will also incorporate a residential enclave of in the vicinity of 400 houses and apartments with every residence having a commanding view of the beautiful Coral Sea and Whitsunday Islands.
The entire project fronts Funnel Bay beach, the most beautiful mainland beach on the Whitsunday Coast. The project will incorporate an indigenous cultural centre and environmental interpretive centre, conference centre and chapel, a number of resort restaurants and a beachfront restaurant, an extensive beach club for the residential enclave and extensive boardwalks and cycle tracks providing both an internal experience and an external link to other localities. The project is located 5 minutes drive south east of Airlie Beach and will incorporate stunning facilities of a 5 star world standard, including lap pools, gymnasiums, beach clubs and resident’s clubs with all of the 5 star facilities associated with the lifestyle a world class project like Funnel Bay demands.
