Resort Corp breaks yet another price barrier in Kingscliff

01/04/2005 -Serial beachside luxury apartment record breaker, Resort Corp has burst through yet another price barrier in Kingscliff, setting a new mark for a Marine Parade sale at its Nor Nor East project.

The three bedroom apartment was purchased by Brisbane identity, Mr Mark Wilson, as a (residential / investment) for $1.65 million.

Construction of Nor Nor East is nearing completion, with just two of its eight apartments remaining for sale. Both are expected to sell prior to construction finishing.

The record price is the fourth set by Resort Corp.

Over the past two years it has eclipsed the $1 million and $2 million marks for apartments and the highest priced ground floor apartment. All were achieved at its ground-breaking Soraya project on exclusive Murphys Road.

Managing Director of Resort Corp, Mr Peter Madrers, said that he was very gratified to set a new standard on Marine Parade.

“To date, Murphys Road has seen all the records tumble. But we’re equally enthused and ambitious about the prospects for our Marine Parade projects Nor Nor East and Sea.

“They equally deserve the recognition they’re now getting.

“Like all property investments, it all comes back to location, quality, demand and value for money,” he said.

“Nor Nor East’s position in the heart of Kingscliff’s café precinct; its superior design; its nor. nor easterly views to the Pacific; and its limited number of apartments; have combined to create an extremely attractive proposition.

“They say that Kingscliff is fast becoming Australia’s new Noosa, but the reality is that I believe we’re achieving much higher standards in design and construction from the start whilst still protecting the town’s village atmosphere and beach culture.

“I think that Kingscliff is now standing on its own two feet as a pristine example of getting the delicate balance right.

“In this way, I think we’ve certainly surpassed Noosa”, he said.

Designed by Pacific Projects Group (PPG), the luxury resort complex combines sophisticated and modern architecture with stunning interiors.

The apartments range in size from 137sqm to 238sqm and include large balcony areas to capitalize on the indoor/outdoor way of life.

Resort Corp has decided to retain the ground floor commercial component of the project and intends to lease space to quality, specialty food outlets.

“We want to maintain the emphasis on the relaxed, alfresco dining atmosphere which Marine Parade is famous for” says Mr Madrers.

The two remaining apartments at Nor Nor East are listed to sell at $1.12 million and $1.69 million respectively. The project is being marketed by Debbie Frizelle at PRDnationwide on 1800 624 724.

Resort Corp is owned by Mr Madrers and lawyer Mr Paul Brinsmead, while Pacific Projects Group (PPG) is owned and operated by Mr Madrers and architect Mr John Lea.

Resort Corp is undertaking a stunning $150 million collection of beachside projects along the Gold and Tweed Coasts include sister project Sea at Kingscliff Beach; Santai, Casuarina Beach; The Beach at Cabarita, and the recently completed Soraya, Dreamtime Beach, Kingscliff.
