Resort Corp joint managing director, Mr Paul Brinsmead said that The Beach would feature 1800 m2 of retail tenancies, a large proportion of which is located on the beachfront.
PRDnationwide’s Brad Johnson and Rudi Wagner of the Gold Coast corporate office are managing the campaign.
Mr Brinsmead said that the tenancies offered a position like no other available on the Australian coastline.
“ Part of The Beach’s retail precinct will be located on the ground level below its luxury five star plus apartments, right on Cabarita Beach. The balance of the space will be located on Pandanus Parade and Coast Road, right in the commercial hub of Cabarita.
“ This rare position will be highly sought-after and as a consequence, we’re seeking expressions of interest only from Australia’s very best retail brands and operators.
“ The mix will include a signature restaurant; a major coffee house and beach village supermarket and a boutique beauty and day spa centre.
“ Once we’ve selected these “anchor” tenants, we will move to complete a complementary stable of retailers,” he said.
Mr Brinsmead said that the precinct would be at the heart of creating something very special for Cabarita.
“ This beautiful part of Australia deserves an extraordinary resort project.
“ The Beach will provide both locals and tourists with a peerless holiday and shopping experience,” he said.
Mr Brinsmead said that The Beach was now 60% complete, with construction expected to complete in April 2006.
Marketing is underway of the final stage release of 13 apartments, which include:
• nine apartments with a stunning absolute beachfront position priced from $1.115 million
• 2 stunning pool and hinterland view apartments priced from $635,000; and
• the 2 beachfront “unbelievable” three-bedroom ‘Ocean Home’ penthouses, priced at $4.275 million and $3.25 million.
The Beach will feature 57 residential apartments in total over three levels.
The Beach site is approximately 7, 858 sq m and is located on the corner of Coast Road and Pandanus Parade Cabarita.
