GOLD Coast-based developer Usher Powell Developments is set to take the wraps of its latest New Tweed Coast venture, the $10 million boutique zen project.
Construction on the six-apartment development, located at a 1025sqm site at on Murphy’s Road at Kingscliff, has been completed.
Murphy’s Road is the only absolute beachfront precinct in Kingscliff and the site of the coastal village’s first one million and two million dollar sales.
Usher Powell developed the project as a joint venture with fellow Coast-developer Resort Corp and Australian basketball icon, Shane Heal.
zen forms part of Usher Powell’s $240 million collection of eastern seaboard projects.
These include $80 million harmony eco-resort at Runaway Bay, along with serenity at Kingscliff and the calm apartments at Redcliffe.
Resort Corp is currently completing or undertaking a $1.3 billion development portfolio on the northern NSW and Queensland coasts.
Usher Powell Developments director Phil Usher said along with Resort Corp’s Soraya development and The Winten Group’s One project, zen represented a step forward in the transformation of Kingscliff.
“Murphy’s Road is extraordinarily well positioned,” he said.
“Not only do you have direct beach front property but it is halfway between Brisbane and Byron.
“It gives you the best combination of price, location and quality that you find on the market.”
The project will be marketed by Colliers PRD’s Graham Jones and Tracey Tiernan located at the Resort Corp Experience Centre on Marine Parade, Kingscliff.
zen’s six, three-bedroom apartments, built over three levels, range in size from 265sqm-312sqm in size and are priced from $1,481,125 million to $2,342,125 million.
Usher Powell purchased the site in April 2003 for $1.75 million.
Each zen apartment will boast absolute beach frontage, their own nature reserve to the east and north, and views of Pacific and of the world heritage-listed Mt Warning National Park and hinterland to the west.
zen was designed by Resort Corp’s director of design, Mr John Lea.
The project was built by FW Curley with interior design handled by Resortium Concepts.
