Soraya on Dreamtime goes prestige with Crompton

19/12/2002 -Active luxury apartment developer, Resort Corp has appointed award winning prestige property builder Stuart Crompton Projects to construct its $7 million Soraya on Dreamtime project at Kingscliff.

Crompton is recognised as one of the Coast’s most experienced building companies with over 15 years in the local industry.

Resort Corp is associated with rising developer Mr Peter Madrers and a range of private investors.

The intimate Soraya on Dreamtime is part of Resort Corps’ $85 million Tweed Coast development program that includes its premier $53 million apartment project on the Cabarita hotel motel site, and three projects in Kingscliff valued at $32 million.

Stuart Crompton Projects has overseen some of the coast’s most premier developments including the Sirromet Winery at Mt Cotton and is currently undertaking the Morris Family Estate project on Nerang-Broadbeach Road at Carrara.

Peter Madrers and Stuart Crompton Projects have built an established relationship from working together on past developments.

Resort Corp managing director, Mr Peter Madrers said it was crucial that a project of Soraya’s prestige be built by a firm that shared his absolute commitment to style and quality.

“Stuart Crompton has a proven track record on prestige properties,” Mr Madrers said.

“We have worked together on past developments and have established a good working relationship.”

“I wanted a boutique, not a volume approach on this project.  We’re promising unparalleled luxury and attention to detail, so we needed a builder of a like mind.”

“With this appointment, Soraya stays on schedule with site preparations due to start early in the New Year.”

“Completion is expected by April next year,” he said.

Stuart Crompton Projects managing director Mr Stuart Crompton said Resort Corp was now setting new benchmarks for architecture-driven, community-friendly development in Kingscliff.

“Soraya on Dreamtime has real class and sophistication.  That’s why it’s been one of the few projects to win unanimous support from Tweed Shire Council,” Mr Crompton said.

“This will be our first project undertaken in Kingscliff, so we look forward to the challenge and to utilising our skills in delivering luxury projects.”

“We are once again pleased to be working with Peter Madrers and Resort Corp, who are renowned and well respected for their luxury developments,” he said.

Resort Corp bought the 1012sq m Soraya site at 7 Murphy’s Road in March this year for $1.55 million.

Soraya includes six apartments with absolute frontage to Dreamtime beach.  Its three bedroom apartments are priced form $950,000 to $1.5 million.

The apartments are being designed and marketed at this stage by pacific Projects Group, also associated with Mr Madrers and John Lea.

The apartments average 180sq m internally and feature suite-style master bedrooms with spacious sitting areas, walk-in wardrobes, indoor-outdoor en-suites and wrap-around balconies.

With the addition of balconies and terraces, storage space and two secure car spaces, the apartments range in size from 275sq m to 354sq m.

The project will include two penthouse apartments featuring private rooftop terraces averaging 60sq m and boasting 360-degree views.

Resort Corp’s other Kingscliff developments include an additional Murphy’s Road apartment project, the details of which have not yet been released and a $12 million apartment and commercial venturer at 32-34 Marine Parade.
